HEALTH MINISTER RETAINS SEAT

Mr Kwaku Agyemang-Manu, Health Minister and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central Constituency retained his seat after beating his main contender Mr Gordon Kwaku Asubonteng, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) aspirant and a former Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).

Mr Agyemang-Manu polled a total of 28, 540 of valid votes cast whilst Mr Asubonteng polled 20, 085 votes to secure victory in the just ended 2020 general elections.

Madam Yeboah Angela Twumasi of Ghana Union Movement (GUM) polled 597 votes with Mr Joeche Uroy Edem of the Great Consolidated Popular Party  (GCPP) polling 52 votes and Mr Adjei Oteng Kwame of the People’s National Convention  (PNC) obtaining 46 of the total ballots cast.
