As part of measures to bring all its members scattered across the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis (STMA) and the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipality (EKMA) in the Western Region, the leadership of the People’s National Convention (PNC) in the Western Region has held a meeting to meet all its members.
The meeting which was christened, “Come Back Home” was attended by hundreds of party members mostly natives from the five nothern regions – Upper East, Upper West, Savanna, Northern and North East Regions.
Malam Yakubu Tahiru, Western Regional Chairman of the party contended that the PNC tradition from its inception, which is to raise funds internally to support its members and run its administration would not be changed.
According to him, the party is determined to secure five (5) parliamentary seats come Monday, December 7, in the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.
Malam Tahiru expressed the hope that the current elected candidates would ignite some passion and enthusiasm among leadership and membership of the party to give it a facelift.
