The Samreboi based Division One side is organizing fundraising to support the Club in its quest to qualify to the Ghana Premier League.
The Club has outlined a series of programs to solicit for funds with major among them as the friendly game with Kumasi based Asante Kotoko slated for 8th November, 2020 at the Samartex Stadium at Samreboi.
The disclosure was made by the Club’s Administrative Manager, Alex Ashun in a telephone conversation with Abaidoo Abednego on Spice Center Sports in Takoradi.
“We have paid Kotoko GH₵ 40,000 as an appearance fee for the fund raising friendly game to be held on the 8th of November at Samreboi, and we will charge GH₵ 40 and GH₵ 20 at the gate”, he stated.
Samartex is preparing to start and compete in the National Division One League 2020/2021 Season later this year.
