NIA Sets To Complete A Mop-Up Registration Exercise On The 8th Of September 2020

The National Identification Authority is set to complete a mop-up registration exercise in Greater Accra on Tuesday, September 08, 2020

According to the Executive Secretary of NIA, Prof. Kenneth Agyeman Attafuah, the mop-up registration which commenced on Monday, August 24, 2020 is aimed at giving opportunity to Ghanaians who were unable to register during the main registration process. The limited registration is expected to add more names of Ghanaians aged 15 years and above on the nation’s register.

Registrants are expected to visit the various NIA registration centres in their districts with their birth certificates, or passports. In the absence of any of these documents, registrants are expected to produce two guarantors one of whom should be a professional and the other a public servant.

In addition to all the requirements above, applicants should have in handy their Ghana Digital Address Code.
