The most trending Phrase in Ghana now “Papa No”, came about after Kumawood actress Tracey Boakye and songstress Mzbel fought dirty over an unknown man they claim they are dating.
The former president and the flagbearer of the opposition party, Nationa Democratic Party Mr. John Mahama has for the first time, made use of the popular phrase “Papa No” on a campaign platform. In an appeal to the gathered crowd and the Chiefs of Asukawkaw, John Mahama pleaded with them to vote for the “Papa No” as they also vote for “Obaa No”.
“I want to vote for Obaa No” so that we get the majority in parliament and do the work for you. I, therefore, plead with you to vote for honorable. We don’t want any skirt and blouse votes in the elections. When you vote for ‘Papa no’, then you again vote for the ‘Obaa no’ so that we win together and provide you developments,” he ended.
