Popular Ghanaian actor, Mr. Beautiful has accused former President, John Agyekum Kufour of squashing “Key Soap Concert Party during his term in office.
He indicated that the NPP political party has never shown interest in the entertainment industry and claim they have track records on that.
According to the actor, When Kufour took over office he collapsed the Ghana best comedy show by appointing a woman at GBC called Eva Lokko.
He explained that a certain man called Kutu Acheampong was housing some film actors and producers after Dr. Kwame Nkrumah established Ghana film.
Mr. Beautiful however added that former President Jerry John Rawlings also contributed by building the National Theater.
He said after the Eva Lokko assumed office as the GBC Director-General she doubled the sponsorship money which scared sponsors away.
He noted it’s because of Former President John Agyekum Kufour’s appointment which led to the collapse of the comedy show.
