Sekondi Takoradi Gold Coast Securities Customers Chases Nana Addo With Picketing For Their Money

The President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo was this morning along the Fijai trunk road greeted by picketing Customers of the defunct Gold Coast Securities fund Management.

The President had gone to Skyy Power Fm as part of his two(2) days official working tour of the Western Region. The customers had earlier picketed along the Paa Grant round about and the road leading to the Takoradi Central Market, thinking the president will be using that stretch of the road in the morning.

So when they got a wind of his intended interview with Sky Power fm, they quickly organised themselves and moved to the area to wait for the president with their ply cards. Some of the ply cards read, ‘CUSTOMERS OF GOLD COAST SECURITIES ARE DYING’. ‘SAVE OUR LIVES NOW BEFORE DECEMBER 7 amongst many others.

Speaking in an interview, the chairman of the customers, Mr. Godwil Ortsin stated that after several pertitions on deaf ears, they decided to picket to draw the president’s attention to their suffering as a result of their unpaid investment with the Gold Coast Securities.
