Some measures put in place to ensure the safety of all students and members of the university community include disinfection and fumigation of the Halls of Residence and academic areas, and provision of Veronica Buckets, soaps and hand sanitizers at entry points. Special Rooms (at least 10 rooms in each hall) have also been reserved for quarantine and management by the university’s Covid19 Rapid Response Taskforce.

Moreover, all students would be accommodated in the Halls of Residence, and students who have special cases justifying their self-rented hostels during the period would be considered on the merit of each case.

All returning students would be required to observe all Covid19 measures and protocols during their stay on campus including wearing of nose masks at all times; checking of temperature before entry into all facilities, and observing social distancing during tutorials, revision and examination periods .
