Politicians Run the Country As Their Property Because We Don’t Hold The Accountable – Lydia Forson
The Ghanaian actress, writer, and producer, Lydia Forson, made it clear in her tweets that politicians after elections run the country as their personal property.
She identified Ghana’s problem on the side of the citizens as they don’t seek for accountability after dashing their votes to a party.
In her series of tweets, she stated that citizens count only when an election is approaching because they will not hold them accountable after voting.
She however called on Ghanaians the need have interest in how the country is being managed after elections.
Lydia Forson is known to be one of the celebrities who bash the government on a regular basis to put them on their toes.
In her tweets, she said that the problem is beyond voting, as people go back to their daily lives and leave Politicians to run the country as they please.
“Very few have interest in the decisions our leaders make so they treat the country like their personal property until next elections,” she wrote.
