The Covid relief fund is for my players: Hasaacas CEO claims

Samuel Paa Kwesi Arbuah, CEO for Sekondi Hasaacas has stated that he’s interested settling his players with the Covid 19 relief fund from FIFA/CAF.

The published disbursement plan has generated controversy, with some major stakeholders expressing dissatisfaction over some allocations with the CEO of Division one side Sekondi Hasaacas joining.

Aside the allocations, the CEO also mentioned the reason behind his aggressiveness to get the relief fund,

“Am fighting for the relief fund so I can share to my players because it’s for them, we haven’t been stable for the past 3 years and the abrupt end of the season has brought lots of debt on us and I need the relief fund to settle my boys, they are why am fighting for the money”
he told Spice Center Sports’ host Abaidoo Abednego on Spice fm

The GFA has further informed Members that the funds are yet to be received.

The Association will continue its engagements with both FIFA and CAF and update members accordingly.
