Philanthropist, and a stalwart of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Isaac Yaw Boamah-Nyarko, has successfully filed his nomination to contest for the NPP Parliamentary Primaries in the Effia Constituency of the Western Region come January 2024.

This means if the processes go through, Lawyer Boamoah-Nyarko will be contesting the incumbent NPP MP for the Constituency, Joseph Cudjoe, who has been in parliament since 2012, and is seeking to be granted another term to represent the constituency in parliament for the fourth time.

Lawyer Boamah Nyarko, has over the years donated to health facilities, schools, the less-privileged and deprived communities among others in the constituency.

Speaking to Beach FM at the party’s constituency in Effia, Lawyer Yaw Boamah said, “it is mandatory and a requirement as part of the processes. I have submitted all the necessary requirements and I’m waiting on the party to give me the green light to proceed with my campaign ahead of January 2024.”

Whiles admonishing his fans and followers to be measured in the campaign for him to become the party’s parliamentary candidate, he revealed that his intention to lead the party in the constituency is to bring fresh ideas on board that will bring about developmental projects for the constituents.

“I’m a man of peace and I have never said anything derogative against anyone. This should be a campaign of issues and not insults. I urge all of them to remain focused and push out my messages which are fresh ideas and new hope.”

Lawyer Isaac Yaw Boamah further appealed to the delegates in the constituency to remember his good deeds and benevolence and vote for him massively to lead the party in the constituency and subsequently become the MP to bring the development that the constituency requires.

The Effia NPP Constituency Secretary, Philip Evans Nyarko receiving the documents from Lawyer Boamah noted that so far only two aspirants have picked the forms and he is the only one who has successfully filed and submitted his forms.

He advised the aspirants and supporters of the various aspirants to be circumspect in their choice of words during their campaigns. Mr Nyarko noted that he is ready to support any aspirant that the delegates deem fit to lead the party in the constituency.
