COVID-19: 73 CHILDREN ARRESTED OVER SELLING IN MARKETS
The Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly’s Monitoring team joined forces with joint Security on Monday 30th March to arrest and detain 73 children selling at both Kojokrom and the Central Business District of Takoradi as part of measures taken to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
The arrest made way with 41 and 32 children from both Kojokrom and Central business district of Takoradi respectively.
In a press release on “Update On Measures Taken To Prevent The Spread of Covid 19 in The Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Area” which was signed by the Public Relation Officer of STMA, John Laste, the assembly warned parents that another arrest will warrant an arraignment.
