A young man popularly known as Mohammed Fresh who is between the ages of 24 and 25 has been confirmed dead at efiekuma in an area called Alhaji Bawa in the Western Region.
Edrisu Mohammed a friend of the deceased has revealed to Beachfmonline.com correspondent, Nana Ama Bodua, that before he parted ways with Mohammed Fresh yesterday around 7pm, he observed that his friend was heavily on Tramadol so he adviced him to eat but the deceased refused.
“Mohammed who was on Tramadol, was dazed, I told him to take food on that day but he refused.
so I left him because my leg was paining me, I wanted to go home for treatment until this morning where I heard of his death.
He is addicted to tramadol and does not eat after taken the drug.
We have adviced him on several occasions to stop the use of tramadol but he never adhered to our advice”
The Chief inspector of police- Efiekuma branch, Mr Ahinful also confirmed that, the deceased has been brought to his station for stealing car battery where he was assaulted badly but the car owner had pity on him at the station and retrieved his battery without pressing charges
” I personally sent him to the hospital for treatment and after he never showed up to the station. I didn’t see any of his family members at the station, but information that i recieved was that, he is half Nigerian and half Ghanaian”
Chief Inspector Ahinful and his guards took the body to Efie Nkwantah Mortuary but confirmed no marks on him.
