International TV network, BET is currently trending after an attempt to wish Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie a happy birthday went sides when they mistakenly used a photo of former SarkCess Music signee Strongman Burner’s photo instead.
The question is how can BET mistakenly post a signee of an artiste who has gone in their records as a joint winner with Nigeria’s Wizkid as Best International Act (Africa) at the 2012 BET Awards held July 1, 2012 in Los Angeles.
Sarkodie became the first Ghanaian to win that category of the BET Awards ever since the country’s musicians started to get nominations for the awards.
Does it suggest that BET knew who sarkodie was but intentionallly posted a wrong picuture or it was a genuine mistake?
BET made the correction and later used sarkodie’s actual pictures to wish him happy birthday
