LAST 2 MUSIC LABEL NEEDED NAM1 AS AN INVESTOR – HAMMER

The founder and C.E.O of the Last 2 Music group Edward Nana Opoku Osei popularly known in the showbiz circles as Hammer has acknowledged the fact that inadequate finance was one of the major challenges that downplayed the Last Two Music group efforts toward making an international impression back in the early 90s

Recounting the music business in the past and how Pae Mu Ka was recorded, Hammer  disclosed to Kwame Offei on spice fm 91.9 Fm’s late night show “Ofie Ne Fie”  that he had loads of talents in his camp to put Ghana on the international level but there were no investors around that time to appreciate show business.

“We had loads of talents but we lacked the right funding back in the days, people didn’t understand music business except for the father of Reggie rockstone who package Reggie Rock Stone’s first album “ Makaa Makaa( I Said it beacuase I said it)”.In 1997 and outdoor  Reggie Rockstone in a grand style, this move by Reggie’s father  enlightened people about the business nature of the music and so other acts begun to follow suit, we needed people like Nana Appiah Menash(Num 1) back in the days to invest money into us which could have made it easier for the industry to be on top of the world, since we were different breed of generation with unique style and force”

He also added that at that time Nigeria had plantation boys   who were the only youth in Nigeria doing music.

The plantation boys looked up to the Ghanaian music industry but overtime, since our industry did not have adequate finance to sustain the revolution the Nigerian overtook us.

last 2 music record at this point had about 60 talents in its camp ,who were been groomed and trained to become music GURUs

Hammer, last two music group are credited for bringing out this noble great artistes such as Obrafour , Kwaw Kese, Edem, Okra, Tinny, Doggo, Sarkodie TeePhlow and more
