Jupita advises Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy

Ghanaian dancehall general, Jupiter has advised Shatta Movement boss, Shatta Wale and Bhimnation leader, Stonebwoy, to do away with emotions and capitalise on the ongoing hype around the brawl at the just ended VGMA to stage a concert in all the regions of Ghana to make money.

Speaking to Kwame Offie on Spice FM’s entertainment show, Ofie ne fie, he said the duo can forgo their emotions and differences and focus strictly on the business aspect of the unfortunate incident.

“For me I think that if they sit down and see the business aspect of this whole beef, they will make good money, initially I had wanted such a thing to happen between Shatta and Samini but as it stands the spotlight is currently on Stonebwoy and Shatta, If they will put their emotions and violence aside and talk among themselves behind close doors to keep it clean it will be a great move because all of them have massive fun base.

Currently there are 16 regions in the country and such concert with these two artistes will generate so much revenue and if you have big companies like MTN, Guinness and more sponsoring this event, you can imagine, regardless of their personal difference they should recognise that we are one people.

Like I said, the business aspect has nothing to do with violence or physical attack, it should be lyrical confrontation, sometimes controversy is good for the business but we should keep it clean” Jupiter indicated.

He also added that although some aspect of the Jamaican dancehall culture projects violence it does not necessarily mean that we have to copy blindly but we can also transform our dancehall message to positively affect society in the right direction instead of spewing evil through our message and character.

Jupitor made this known when he joined a discussion of “Dancehall Culture” with Kwame Offie on Ofie ne Fie on Spice 91.9 FM.
