Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited, producers of Malta Guinness, held season two of the Maltavator Challenge qualifiers in Takoradi on Saturday. Over 100 participants turned up for the event at the Police Reserve Park at Takoradi for the chance to win the whooping $20,000 prize money
The Brands manager of Malta Guinness, Roland Ofori was impressed with the talents in the Western Region.
“Everything has gone past my expectations, they say the best comes from the west, and I must confess that the sort of energy, enthusiasm, competition has been overwhelming” he told Beachfmonline.com
“It has been action packed from the word go, the level of competition we saw here is something that I’m very confident that, the finalists we will take to South Africa will have a sizable number from the Western Region” he added.
Ten people were selected for the final qualifiers at Accra.
