“Dissolve Examination Body” – law student tells GLC
Some irate law students have called for the suspension of the Independent Examination Body (IEB) over the leakage of Ghana School of Law Entrance Examination questions.
The 2018 Ghana School of Law Entrance Examination organized by the General Legal Council (GLC) reportedly leaked on Friday, July 27, 2018.
A section of the law students has since called on the GLC to suspend the IEB and prevent them from organizing exams.
Sampson Akuffo, a law student who sat for the exams told Spicefmonline that moments before the commencement of the examination, the question paper and its marking scheme had been leaked on social media.
According to him, the students ignored the questions which were making rounds on Social media only for the same questions to appear on the exams paper.
According to him, it was after the exams that some of his colleagues mentioned that, they had access to the exams papers before they started writing the paper.
“The questions leaked together with corresponding marking scheme which had details of how the questions should be answered. What shows that students who will pass this particular paper did not have access to the leaked documents?”, he added.
He however called on the GLC to cancel the exams and provide days for the papers to be re-written.
