CAF Throws Support Behind Kwesi Nyantakyi

Confederation of African Football (CAF) have thrown their support behind Ghana’s Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi who has being allegedly labelled corrupt by some section of Ghanaians.

In an exclusive interview with Julius Abekah Emmunah on the Friday Night Football Show on Beach 105.5 FM, a member of CAF’s Emergency Committee, Musa Bility stated that he is not surprised with the current situation Kwesi Nyantakyi finds himself because allegations of corruption against FA Presidents is a normal practice in the football fraternity.

“I’m not surprise with the current situation Kwesi Nyantakyi finds himself. Allegations of corruption against FA presidents and governmental manipulations is a normal practice in Africa”.

The Liberian FA President also stated they are confident Kwesi Nyantakyi will come out of the situation very clean.
“Kwesi Nyantakyi is a good man, his credibility is undoubted and we at CAF are very confident he will come out clean” he said.
“Kwesi Nyantakyi shouldn’t be defined by this current predicaments alone. He has a lot of goods to still offer African football”, he added.
Kwesi Nyantakyi who is the longest serving FA president in Ghana is facing public scrutiny after been questioned by police in a bid to investigative expose by ace broadcast journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
