TWO NIGERIANS IN THE GRISP OF POLICE FOR ALLEGEDLY STEALING GH33K FROM BUSINESSMAN

Two Nigerians; Abidoye Adekunlo aged 47 and Alhaji Sulimon Olaoluwa aged 44 have been arrested by the Western Region Police Command for allegedly stealing GH¢33,000 from a businesman at the central business area of Takoradi (Market Circle).
Intelligence from the Police Service indicates the duo at stole the cash from one Michael Agyekum, a businesman, and bolted in a light blue Toyota Matrix with a Nigerian registration plate; EKY 878 FB.
Mr Agyekum is reported to have cashed he said amount from the Takoradi Branch of the Prudential Bank.
He quickly, around 2pm informed the police and the information was relayed to all checkpoints to look out for the vehicle.
Luck eluded them. The Gh¢33,000.00 cash has been retrieved and the suspects are currently in police custody.
