Peace and Love Hospital in Kumasi together with the Prestea Government Hospital has opened a breast cancer department inside the Prestea Government Hospital to help deal with the growing issue of breast cancer in the district.

Addressing a gathering at the launch, the head of Breast Care International, Mrs Beatrice Wiafe mentioned that breast is the beauty of ladies and it is the major source of food for feed young babies but cancer she said is one disease that always give problem to women.

“Breast cancer is easily detectable and treatable in the identified earlier”, she said.



Mrs. Wiafe however called on women to boldly visit the hospital anytime they have a miss feeling in their breast and get treatment to avoid losing their breast through breast cancer.
