A 54 year old Kwaku Awuni aka Santo has committed suicide by hanging in Wassa hintaado in the Amenfi East District of the western region.
Mr. Kofi Azuma the brother of the deceased told Beachfmonline that his brother last week attempted suicide by taking poisonous substance but by the timely intervention of their neighbours he was rushed to the hospital.
Narrating the ordeal, Kofi Azuma told newsmen that, he had a call this afternoon from his brother’s children that their father has taken a sponge and has left home so he traced him to the forest only to found him dead in a cocoa plantation by hanging.
