Ghana's Black Queens eleven against Ivory Coast
Stand-in coach Mercy Tagoe Quaicoo has named the starting eleven for Black Queens game against Ivory Coast.
Winger Portia Boakye who was named as the stand-in captain at the absence of Elizabeth Addo will start on the flanks alongside Jane Ayieyam and Priscilla Okyere.
The opening game of the WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations will also see Faustina Ampah of FC Minsk in Belarus pair veteran Janet Egyir at the heart of the defense.
Ellen Coleman and Gladys Amfobea will man the left and right positions respectively whiles Mavis Owusu, Grace Asantewaa and Juliet Acheampong will complete the midfield for the team.
