Emmanuel Tagoe stops Saucedo to retain IBO Lightweight belt
Asamoah Gyan sponsored Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe stopped Fernando Saucedo to retain the IBO Lightweight title in a controversial decision on Saturday, 27 January, 2018 at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
The referee stopped the bout in the 10th round after Saucedo hit the canvass from punches to the back of his head which is illegal in boxing. However, the referee stopped the bout and awarded the technical knockout victory to Tagoe.
Saucedo visited the canvass twice in the second round but complained a lot in the match that Tagoe was throwing illegal punches to the back of his neck.
Tagoe retained the belt and remains undefeated in 28 bouts.
Section of the fans turned furious and questioned the referee for ending the game on that note.
So baby jet promotions are spending on this comedian boxer? Will never spend my time watching "Game boy" tagoe fight
