14 year old class 6 Pupil (name withheld) in the Asenda Basic School in Ellembele District of the Western Region is alleged to have been defiled by four strong guys aged 35, 25, 18 and 17 years respectively.
Narrating the incident to Correspondent, Michael the victim said she attended a program in the town on Monday 15-01-18 and she was offered a drink suspected to have been induced by the suspects.
According to the victim, she woke up the next day outside her house only to find out her underwear was stained in blood while she also experienced severe pains.
For the fear of being beating by her mother, she reported the incident to a friend’s mother who later informed her mother.
Its was then, the case was reported at the Esiama Police Station after which they proceeded to Eikwe hospital for confirmation.
Maa Gifty mother of the victim told Spicefmonline that, parents of three suspects on Monday 22-01-18 evening visited her family trying to resolve the issue amicable which they rejected.
Although the incident has since been reported to the police, no arrest has been made so far.
Meanwhile efforts to speak to the Essiam Police Command on the issue have proved futile.
