The Vice President Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia has revealed the amount of money Former President John Mahama and the NDC government spent on the construction of the circle interchange.
Circle Dubai interchanged and has compared the cost to that of his government.
Addressing Ghanaian’s at the 3rd town hall meeting and result fair held at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Science , Bawumia said;
“Ladies and gentlemen, it’s important to note that the cost of the Tema, Tamale, Pokuase and Obetsebi Lamptey Interchanges is USD289 million while the cost of the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange was constructed at USD260 million.
“So, you have four major Interchanges – Tema, Tamale, Pokuase and Obetsebi Lamptey for USD289 million and one Kwame Nkrumah Circle for USD260 million
“Will leave that for you to ponder,” Dr Bawumia stressed.
