3 Ghanaian Referees Invited for 2018 WAFU Women’s Cup

FIFA Referees Theresa Bremansu, Joyce Appiah Ohenewaa and Beatrice Thaud are the three Ghanaian referees to officiate at the 2018 West Africa Football Union Women’s Cup of Nations which will commence on February 14 – February 28 at Ivory Coast.
The first of its kind tournament will see eight West African Nations potted into two groups of four nations. Ghana’s senior female national team[Black Queens] drawn in Group A alongside host Cote divoire, Niger and Burkina Faso. African champions Nigeria in Group B alongside Togo, Benin and Senegal in the sub regional tournament.
Theresa Bremansu and Joyce Appiah Ohenewaa centre referees and Assistant referee Beatrice Thaud will join their other compatriots next month for the tournament.
The 3 female officiating officials were given their FIFA Badges January 6, 2017.
