His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has revealed that he has forgotten about the Dzamefe Commission of inquiry white paper which contains findings and recomendations after Ghana’s botched 2014 Fifa World Cup campaign.
The Dzamefe Commission after its work produced a white paper which among other things made various recommendations aimed at averting a repeat of Ghana making global headlines as a result of poor decisions, like flying millions of dollars from Ghana to Brazil for the purpose of paying bonuses and appearance fees of Black Stars players.
Speaking to the media at the Flagstaff House, his excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo indicated that he had forgotten about the white paper.
“I think that on these matters truth is usually the best answer. To be honest i have forgotten about the 2014 white paper.
According to him, the issue “has not been on his radar” but indicated that the Sports Minister will have to advise the government on what do to with the White Paper.
