Hearts beat Kotoko 4:2 on spot kick to reach final of GHALCA G-8
Accra Hearts of Oak showed their spot kick prowess against rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko with a 4;2 victory in the first semifinal game in the GHALCA G-8 tournament today at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium after playing out a goalless draw in regulation time.
Accra Hearts of Oak’s Francis Morton’s attempt from long distance went wide on the 16th minute mark setting the supporters stance of the Rainbow Family cheering up.

Left winger Kwame Boahene blasted away an opportunity to put Asante Kotoko ahead inside the box in the 83rd minute.
Five minutes to end proceedings, Patrick Razak with only the goalkeeper to beat sent the ball wide.
Left back Eric Donkor’s effort from the edge of the box in the 90th minute was saved by Hearts of Oak shot stopper Benjamin Mensah.
Accra Hearts of Oak scored 4 out of their five kicks whiles rival Asante Kotoko falling off with 3 of their kicks going wide.
Accra Hearts of Oak will have to wait for the winner between Dream FC and Medeama SC for the final showdown on Sunday.
