GHALCA 8: Kotoko draw Hearts in an epic semifinal encounter
The two Ghana Premier League giants[Kumasi Asante Kotoko vrs Hearts of Oak] are drawn in an epic semifinal encounter in the ongoing Ghana League Club’s Associations G-8 tournament.
Hearts of Oak impressive second half display secured a 3;2 win against an improved Ebusua Dwarfs – hero of the day, Richard Zuma powered in his first and second goals for the Accra based side against Ebusua Dwarfs in a five goal thriller.
Accra Heart of Oak finished second on group A and will engage bitterest rivals, winners of group B, Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the biggest and most famous encounter in Ghana football.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko urged out Ghana Premier League title holders, Aduana Stars with goals from left back, Eric Donkor and diminutive winger, Kwame Boahene to finish as group winners due to better goal difference(2). The Super Clash between the two comes off at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The other semifinal encounter is between Medeama Sporting Club and Dream Football Club at the Cape Coast Stadium.
