The 25 year old forward who is yet to make her debut for the Black Queens was born in Wuppertal, a city in Germany to Ghanaian parents.
The project aims to raise the visibility of women’s football to teenage girls and showcase the game as an aspirational lifestyle choice.
Eunice Beckmann currently playing for FC Basel is tasked to inspire young and talented boys and girls across Africa and the world at large to reach and exceed their potential.
“Taking part in the Press Play blog series is fantastic because I’m doing it with three of my friends. Despite living in different countries, we all try to keep in touch as much as possible, and I think it will be great for girls to see how close we all are thanks to football. I’m also excited to give an insight into football in Switzerland, and show girls where the sport could take them”.
The first episode of Press Play will premiere on 18th January 2018.
