VGMA banned artiste, Shatta Wale has disclosed the major secret behind his biggest song, “FREEDOM” – the song turning heads in the music industry now.
Another hit track in collaboration with Sekondi-Takoradi based Music Producer, Williz Beatz. Critics have jumped on him and consented that the song does not make sense because the artiste[Shatta Wale] used only few words.
The Dancehall artiste in an interview with Adom FM’s Jerry Justice revealed that he entered the booth to record the ‘Freedom’ tune because Patapaa was making waves with his ‘One Corner’. The ‘Shatta Movement Family Champion’ revealed that he initially wanted to give the song to the Agona Swedru-based musician but changed plans later because he, Patapaa worried him in 2017 with his only hit single.
“Let me confess today. Patapaa worried me a lot so he made me record the freedom song. I wanted to give the song to him but I changed my plan later. I’m saying this and God knows that I am not lying. That is how smart I am.
“Patapaa’s One corner got me asking why God didn’t bring the hit song to Accra but took it to Swedru. Tell Patapaa I love him so much but he nearly killed my career”- Shatta Wale disclosed
