Jamie Charagher – Pep Guardiola is the star for me of Manchester City

Former Red’s center back Jamie Charagher has released a bucket full of praises on Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola claiming he’s the star of the Etihad side.
The Premier League’s runaway leaders secured their 18th victories in succession with a 31st minute curler from 23-year-old Rahim Sterling – his 13th goal of the season as the Sky Blues rounded up a 0:1 win against Newcastle United at the St James Park.
The win against the Magpies meant Manchester City have gone a club record 20 games against a particular side without defeat.
After the game, the UEFA Champions League winner couldn’t help, but shower on the Spaniard all praise there’s pointing to the impact he has had on the Cityzens.
“Pep Guardiola is the star for me of Manchester City. They had Fernandinho at centre-back tonight, and had Eliaquim Mangala, who previous managers don’t seem to have wanted, and Danilo playing at left-back when he isn’t really a left-back.”
“Raheem Sterling did not have a great start to his Manchester City career and was not a regular, but he is now one of the best wide players in the Premier League.”
“De Bruyne is now the best player in the Premier League and could go on to be one of the best in the world if he is not there already. His improvement has come under Guardiola”.
“Look at the improvements. It’s not just about spending money, every top club in world football spends money, that’s what you have to do, but the improvement in players Guardiola has inherited is why they are so far ahead of Manchester United.”
“Sometimes for how good Man City are you look at the names on paper and not everyone gets into an all-time XI. I know there’s been talk of Jose Mourinho saying he needs more money, but look at the improvement of two players under Guardiola.”
