Police recover stolen Nissan pickup from Ursula Owusu’s office; 17 more arrested in post-election violence

The police have successfully recovered the Nissan Pick-Up truck that was stolen from the office of Ursula Owusu, the outgoing MP for Ablekuma West.

The vehicle was taken on Monday, December 9, 2024, when unidentified individuals raided the MP’s office, making off with several valuable items, including three motorbikes and the Nissan Pick-Up.

During a media briefing, ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Head of the Public Affairs Directorate of the Ghana Police Service, confirmed that the recovered vehicle is now in the custody of the Dansoman Police Station.

Additionally, ACP Ansah-Akrofi announced that 17 more individuals have been arrested in connection with post-election violence, bringing the total number of arrests to 123.
