A school matron and her husband have been arrested for allegedly stealing food items meant for first year students of St.Kizito Senior High Schoo at Aveyime in the North Tongu district.
Bless Vordzorgbe and her husband were arrested on Monday, November 20 after they had packed some of the items including six gallons of cooking oil, seven boxes of sardine, six bags of beans, 10 bags of rice, and several bags of gari into a van.
Accra based radio station Class Fm reports that the headmaster and some workers of the school are locked in a meeting to determine their next line of action.
The suspects have since been granted bail.
