The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has described the late Asempa FM presenter, Kwadwo Asare Barfour Acheampong (KABA) as a presenter who always induce him to reveal secrets.
According to General Mosquito as he is widely called, the late radio presenter has a unique way of posing questions to interviewees that could force them to reveal ‘hidden truths’ in issues.
“KABA always pushed me to reveal details I would have otherwise not have done in interviews…he always pushed us to reveal serious detail”, he said.
The General Secretary of the biggest opposition party in Ghana was among the numerous persons who were always interviewed by the late presenter.
There were times when he would walk into the studio of Asempa FM for a one-on-one interview with KABA on his show.
“I met KABA recently and he complained that there were times when he was accused of either being an NPP or NDC, I told him that was a sign that he was doing well. The fact that you received criticisms from those two sides meant you are doing things right,” the General Mosquito told KABA.
