Though the Local Organizing Committee are set to be named, reports are already firmed up as authorities seek to use the two ultra-modern facilities to host the seven visiting nations.
Ghana will be hosting the tournament for the first time since its inception in 1991 – the Black Queens have participated in 11 of the 12 African Women’s Championships.
The Black Queens are chasing their first gold medal, falling to the Super Falcons of Nigeria at three separate grand-finale; 1998, 2002 and 2006.
