The Ministry of Youth and Sports(MOYS) have appointed four figures to form the Local organizing committee for the 2019 African Women’s Championship(2019 AWC) in a meeting held today.
Ghana won the bid to host the next edition of the AWC tournament which comes of later November 2019.

The membership of the LOC will be headed by Honourable Freeda Prempeh, Member of Parliament for Tano North, Brong-Ahafo Region, former Ghana Football Association Vice Chairman, Fred Crentsil, will be the Vice Chairman for the board, member of National Women’s League Board and Ghana Olympic Committee, Madam Linear Addy and Member of Asante Akyem North, Honourable Kojo Baah Agyemang completing the list.
The four are billed to see to a successful tournament by way of coordinating all local affairs of the tournament.
Head coach Dramani Mas-Ud Didi and his Black Queens are charged to lift the trophy after failing to do so at three grand-final against Nigeria.
