Nulyfers isn't a group, it's a Movement – Dobble(Paa Kwasi)
After months of speculations, Paa Kwesi of the disbanded High Life duo, Dobble; the now defunct group behind the massive Easter anthem – Christie, has refuted claims of a new group with fellow High Lifer, Quarme Zaggy.
In a phone-interview with Jayel of Beach 105.5 FM’s The Scoop, he stated that he is merely trying to breathe new air into the Highlife genre with a new movement he calls “Nulyfers”, which he plans to undertake with some of the relatively new and relevant contemporary High Life artistes in the country.
According to him, the term Nulyfers, ‘’simply means new faces of Highlife.’’
He explained that there’s a misconception of the High Life genre being a reservation for the old generation – a misconception he plans to clear. He stated that, ‘’Highlife is culture, and needs to be embraced and celebrated’’ – a venture he is keen on pursuing, especially with his Nulyfers’ movement.
Paa Kwesi, also revealed that he already has about five songs with Quarme Zaggy, some of which, videos have already been recorded, so fans should be on the lookout.
