Interior Minister declares Monday, June 26 a Public Holiday

Minister for Interior , Ambrose Dery, has announced that Monday, June 26, 2017, is a statutory public holiday and should be observed as such.
The day marks the Eid Ul-Fitr which is an important day on the Muslim calendar.The day is  marked by Muslims worldwide to celebrate the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
A statement signed by the minister says the day should be observed throughout the country.
