Takoradi Senior High School advance to the 1/4 finals of the NSMQ
Takoradi Senior High school have qualified to the quarter finals of the 2017 National Science and Math Quiz after beating off competition from Oguaa Senior High Technical School and Benkum Senior High School.
TADISCO represented by Jeremiah Fumi-Farco and Emmanuel Lord Eshun becomes the second school from the western region after Archbishop Porter Girls Secondary school.
TADISCO made a remarkable recovery while trailing in the final round, answering two riddles correctly to end the round on same points(29) as Benkum Senior High School, who failed to correctly answer a single riddle in round five.
The two schools were then separated by a tie breaker question which the Takoradi-based school answered correctly on the second ring. TADISCO has now appeared in the quarter finals of the competition for the first time since 1994 when the competition begun.
Next to compete today is Nkroful Agric Senior High School in competition three against title holders Adisadel College and Suhum Senior High School.
