Kwadwo Asamoah set to make Black Stars return

Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has hinted at an imminent return to the Black Stars of Ghana after a three year hiatus.

Asamoah who has been hit with series of injuries explained that he needed time out of the national team to enable him focus on returning to full fitness and reclaiming a starting berth at his club Juventus where he’s fallen down the pecking order.
The former Udinese midfielder has finally declared his intention to return to the national team.
“I will join the Black Stars soon, I was injured and I didn’t want to join the team half fit. But now I think I’m fully fit to join the team soon”  Kwadwo Asamoah declared.
Asamoah whose club Juventus lost the Uefa Champions League finals to Real Madrid last featured for the Black Stars in a 2-1 defeat against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal in the last group G game of the 2014 World Cup.
He was invited by then coach of the Black Stars Avram before the start of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations but he declined citing fitness reasons.
Kwadwo Asamoah’s announcement will be music to the ears of Ghanaians who have been clamoring for his return to the senior national team.
