Archbishop Porter Girls Secondary School(APGSS)have opened an 18 point gap to snatch a quarter final slot in the ongoing National Science and Math Quiz.
The Takoradi based school fend off competition from Tema Senior High School and Kintampo Senior High School to book their place in the quarter finals of the competition.
APGSS thus becomes the first school out of seven from the Western Region to qualify from the preliminary stage in this year’s competition with Takoradi Senior High School(TADISCO) and Nkroful Agricultural Senior High School set to take their turn on Wednesday.
2012 winners Ghana Secondary Technical School(GSTS) will be competing on Thursday while Nsein Senior High School and Half Assini Senior High School compete on Friday. Sekondi College round up the western region assault as they take their turn on Saturday.
