Ghanaian artiste Patapaa aka Patapeezy has declared that none of Shatta Wale’s songs has travelled like his song “one corner”.
He made this assertion on Ofie ne fie show with Nana Ama Shancy on Spice 91.9 FM.
According to Patapaa, he has put Ghana on the map with his “jama” genre that GOD gave him which no artiste has ever broken his record including Shatta Wale.
“Which artiste has gone far as I have? Whose music has travelled far apart from “one corner”? Even Shatta Wale has no music that can surpass “one corner”, so people should stop tagging me as an artiste with useless music because I’m unique and my style is different”, he bragged.
Patapaa stated that his choice of music was granted to him by God and that he’s different but Ghanaians do not appreciate that.
He added that the people Ghanaians appreciate do not put Ghana on the globe and thus he’s not going to change his genre for any reason.
“My style is “jama and even though people criticize it, they jam to it. It’s a special style God gave me and that’s why it has taken me far more than any artiste”, he asserted.
The “Agye ta” singer believes his kind of music is going to win him a Grammy soon.
Meanwhile, he urged his fans to stream his new single “Agye ta” on all platforms.
