Apostle Eric Nyamekye, the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, is optimistic about the swift passage of the Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill, commonly referred to as the anti-gay bill.

Despite facing delays in presenting the bill for consideration, with some proponents alleging intentional obstruction by the Majority side in Parliament, Apostle Nyamekye remains confident in the bill’s eventual success.

In an interview during the commissioning of the Amigo Bread factory on the Accra-Tema Motorway, Apostle Nyamekye expressed his faith in the legislative process for the bill to be approved.

He mentioned hearing the Speaker emphasize the need to expedite action on the bill and stated, “We are praying for him. As long as they keep pushing, I am sure they will be able to work on it, and it will succeed.”
