The Western Regional Communication Director, of the NDC, Kirk Mensah, has asked the public to disregard a viral video in which some party officers were seen swearing on their lives and that of their firstborns to stay true to the party.
According to the communication director, the video is an old one that was taken before the 2020 elections. Notably, among the officers was the former director of elections for the party, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah.
Mr. Mensah stressed that the party will not seek to attain power at the detriment of any life loss.
Mr. Kirk Mensah emphasized that the NDC is not perturbed by the presence of any new political party but remains focused on snatching power from the governing NPP.
However, Mr. Ankrah, in a statement issued on Thursday, said, “That publication is inaccurate, misleading, and deliberately twisted to suit the agenda of our detractors.”
