The Ashaiman to the World Concert which got international appeal from BBC and other international media houses last year, turned out bigger and successfully last Saturday, October 30, but unknown to the near hundred thousand people who turned up was the dance-hall Artist’s just wedded bribe stabbed moments before he climbed the stage.
The multiple award winner, who is originally known as Livingstone Etse Satekla in a worrying mood revealed on his Facebook page on Sunday, claiming his wife, Louisa, was stabbed at the Saka Saka Park few minutes before he performed.
Stonebwoy claimed he was the intended target, but the just to be identified assailants failed, but ended up injuring Louisa – the two married June 2017.
According to the Facebook Post, Louisa, the injured, was rushed to the hospital just before the 2017 BET Awards nominee climbed the big stage to performed to the fans who had no knowledge of what had happened.
“Knife cuts Tru My Tent Missed Me As Target And Cuts wifey on her back side! Minute Before I Hit Stage! But #IstillDeliveredForMyPeople and Rushed To The hospital right after I Got Off Stage… ” the caption on a picture of his ripped tent stated.
In that very stage performance, Stonebwoy was joined on stage by seeming rival, Shatta Wale, who fulfilled an earlier promise to join his fellow dancehall artiste on stage.
Popular artists like Patapa, Kofi Kinaata, Yaa Pono, Kofi Slay and Sariki had a time on the big stage.
Ashaiman despite its high crime rate also is known as Stonebwoy’s fan-base.
