One of Ghana’s most talented actresses, Nadia Buari, has added to her cache of awards, the Best Actress of the Year award at the 2017 Nollywood Film Festival which took place in Frankfurt, Germany.
The Sekondi-Takoradi born actress who is also a mother of twin baby girls attended the festival held over the weekend, wearing a gorgeous kente outfit.
In an instagram video, she thanked all the organizers of the event for recognizing her efforts and giving her the award:
“Wow! Yeah! Thank you so much Nollywood Film Festival…Nollywood Golden Europe Awards. I am so appreciative. Thank you for awarding me ‘Best Actress of the Year’. This means so much to me. I am super happy.”
The award-winning actress has starred in many Ghallywood and Nollywood movies and has gained recognition for her contributions to the entertainment industry.
Nadia Buari, 34, was born in Sekondi-Takoradi to a Ghanaian mother and a Lebanese father.
She graduated from the University of Ghana with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
