My Beef with Lord Kenya was "Nothing"-Obrafour

It is common for musicians to have beefs among themselves and portray their feelings in their songs. It was therefore no surprise when Obrafour and Lord Kenya had a grudge with each other and revealed it in their songs. However, Obrafour has explained how the lyrical battle started and why it was not real but artificial.
In an exclusive interview with Beach FM 105.5 FM he revealed what triggered his beef with Lord Kenya. He surmised that the beef was not planned but happened out of the blue and was advantageous to both himself and Lord Kenya marketing-wise.
Obrafour stated that the supposed beef was in fact “nothing” and explained that “a friend of mine happened to be at Lord’s camp… there was this day this guy comes around and tells me that there is something in Lord’s new song coming for me because Lord said that in my debut album (Yaanom) where I said I was the rap heavy weight champion, I am not, so there is a song heading my direction to silence me and I went on defense straight ahead and did mine too.”
Obrafour however acknowledged that while he and Lord Kenya did not engage in any personal attacks, same cannot be said for musicians of today who do not bring maturity to play in many of their beefs. He added that beefs should be factual, and those engaged in it should focus on merely “punching holes in opponent’s song”
He pointed to the mutual respect between himself and Lord Kenya, which is highlighted in the fact that Lord Kenya has recently invited Obrafour to do a collaboration with him on the basis that he is born again and Obrafour has willingly accepted the offer.
