Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Akuffo has urged parents of young Ghanaian footballers to take advantage of free the Free Senior High School policy by Government.
The free Senior High School policy was launched yesterday at the West African Senior High School in Accra. The former Feyenord Academy trainee ( now WAFA academy) has urged parents of young Ghanaian footballers to take advantage of the policy to educate their Wards.
Akuffo posted on Facebook:’I really hope and pray parents of young ghanaian footballers will take advantage of this free SHS and make sure their kids get some level of education, we have no excuse anymore. The “our parents didn’t have money” is no more… #footballersgeteducated’
Michael Akuffo completed Winneba Secondary School in 2006 while still with the then Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy.
